At the Nashville Film Institute, we hit the ground running. From the very first week, students begin learning about the film industry and preparing for their first projects. Throughout the course of the program, students work both independently and in collaboration with one another. By the time our students graduate, they will have five of their own film productions for their demo reel and numerous production credits.

At each step of the student journey, we are intentional about preparation for successful careers after graduation. Our students work hand-in-hand with industry professionals and one another. Many of our entrepreneurial students even procure paid industry jobs while still taking classes at the NFI, making their transition into the industry seamless and immediate upon graduation.
